Hello From VB!

Navy Chief that just got back from toting an M4 and an M9 around for 9 months, but can't seem to buy a gun here in the United States for my own personal use. Rather ironic isn't it...
Tried to purchase a gun at the VB Gun Show in early January, to wind up a delay for over a week (now approved). Going to hit the Hampton Show today, but not sure how this is going to go.
Seems that the dealer I submitted the check with (who said they would hold my gun until the Hampton Show) has sold it, thus I don't even know if I can do another NICS within 30 days...

to VGOF Chief. Why buy a gun? Why not just bring a gatling from one of the vessels...

Hey! Wow!
Thanks to all for the awesome welcome aboard!
All's well that ends well! Just got back and boy am I happy! Merlin at Rabbit Ridge really felt bad about the gun I wanted, and afterall it was a mix up at the shop. He was great and said that he would do what he could to make it right. After looking around a bit, I spotted a Bersa Thunder 380 Plus. He cut me a great deal on it for to set things straight, and he is going to find me another Bersa Thunder 380 CC (what I originally wanted).
Very happy camper for my first gun purchase!
I took quite a few photos of the last few months of my adventures in Iraq and since everyone here is so kind, I figured I would share them with you! Most have found them (at least) amusing...

Wow, Chief - what a cool vacation! It'll take a while to flip through all those shots (boonie connection speeds here), but I'm looking forward to coming back for more.
