Bloomberg's new agenda

NEW YORK (AP) -- A New York City-funded guidebook for heroin users offers information on how to prepare drugs carefully and how to care for veins to avoid infection.

The state's top official with the Drug Enforcement Administration calls it a "step-by-step instruction on how to inject a poison."

DEA Special Agent-In-Charge John Gilbride says the handout is "very disturbing."

But Mayor Bloomberg defends the city's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's decision to print the pamphlets.

"I would certainly not reccomend to anyone that they use hard drugs or soft drugs," he said. "But our health department does have an interest in if you're going to do certain things to get you to do it as healthily as you possibly can."

The department printed about 70,000 copies of the handout.

Thank you Mayor Bloomberg for giving us yet another way to know that you are an out-of-touch, elitist idiot.

Knowing that this effort is funded by the NYC tax payers, I wonder how much of that money trickles in from the federal level. As a side note, why cant he publish a gun operation and safety manual. That would fit his other agenda would it not.

I honestly cant believe this twit goes after "illegal guns" to get them off the streets of places he has no control of and then publishes a manual to help druggies in his own city. What's next? A book on how to safely rob someone for money to buy more drugs?

Bloomberg's idea of "gun safety" involves a large crusher and iron smelter :packin:

... parents had five kids.. all got the same "drug instruction manual;" if you want to try drugs we'll get them FOR you.... and we'll make sure you have enough to OD...!!

Bloomie is just an idiot - keeping druggies healthy ensures that there is a "cottage-industry" available to "fund" for either NY City, State or Fed'l programs - this is about a bean-counters wet-dream about budgeting-money, not about drugs or helping folks.

As far as gun-manuals promoted by Bloomie - where's the money in that for him...? That idea is about as useful to Bloomie as the hemorrhoids he creates by sitting on his azz all day "thinking" about this stuff.

Yeah, that is EXACTLY what we need "healthy" druggies who are in better health to rob, maim, etc., the regular folks. IMHO, I'd rather the heroin get em - or some other issue; instead of having to waste a bullet during a potential violent encounter - ammo ain't cheap.... and this ain't the same "shooting up..."

Pull back plunger to load 3 CC's of heroin and at least 10 CC's of AIR, inject the 13 CC's total into vein and stand by for large rush.

Give me his job and the needles, drugs, (and maybe a pusher or two (or three)) will all find their way into that smelter...
