Not sure how good it will be....

SGK, LTD is putting it on and they were just at VA Beach 2-3 Jan. According to this thread http://vagunforum.net/tidewater-area/gu ... t3112.html it wasn't that good. So who knows.

Howdy,

The Hampton shows are usually pretty good, certainly the best of those held in the Tidewater Area. I haven't been to the Richmond or NoVa shows, so I can't compare.

If you sign up for the promoter's mailing list, you can get a coupon for a dollar off the $8.00 admission:

Thanks George. I actually did that a couple of days ago at work. Got a buddy that usually attends all the gun shows and filled me in.

Be careful buying any handguns outside the show, 27 handguns were stolen from the armory. No list was supplied to the public or media, the story is at wtkr.com

I've bought three handguns there and I know most of the employees, as well as the owner. I can only imagine how sick they are over this.

Hopefully the security video will help police catch the scumbags before those guns disappear forever.

well, i've been there a few times too, and if I was a thief, I would have grabbed some of the weapons hanging on the walls, so I'm guessing this was some dummies.....and I hope they catch them fast.

That is one thing I wouldn't do....

They went through the ceiling.... this person(s) must have known the place pretty good.

Not entirely true.... I have never been to that place but I am assuming they have long guns hanging on the wall. With that being said, what is easier to take out and get more of? Hand guns. You could take 3 times as many as you could rifles. Just toss them in a bag. Rifles would be harder to get out when you your arms full.

Ok, went to the gun show. This was my first gun show in YEARS and I can say it was awesome! So much stuff, so many guns! I didn't buy any guns, but I did buy a new Ka-Bar knife and FINALLY joined the NRA (Life membership) and the VCDL. I did the Payment plan for the Life membership with the NRA and was told the actually cost of the Life membership is now $750 instead of $1000 like it says everywhere.
