I posted a joke that one COULD take as racist IF they don't really read the joke and realize that it was making fun of racists. Sometimes a joke is a joke. We have grown too thin skinned.

Hey theres another thread about beating kids. That toughens up your skin. Lord knows I took enough as a kid and during my stay in the Army.

I was SPANKED, never whipped or beat. I see nothing wrong with it. There are limits. Again, another case of extremes. Loose the extremes and you will find what works in the middle. For any rule/law to work there have to be REAL consequences or else they are nothing more than worthless words.
