Five hostages. I wonder what the headline would be if one of the customers or the employees hadn't been disarmed by the Postmaster and illegal laws?

There are simply way too many gun crimes being publicized lately. Not saying that they shouldnt be but sooner or later the libs in DC are going to jump and the sheeple will all line up and say yes sir, please ban all them guns.

The comments section where the proles are piling it on ad-hominem against one "mommy5" are absolutely reprehensible.

The angry, spiteful part of me wishes all of those anti-gunners were inside that post office right now pissing themselves in fear because not only do they have no recourse against a deranged lunatic, they have consciously accepted the status of victims... and believe that a maniac with C4 strapped to his chest is likely to be a reasonable person who will not harm them as long as they cooperate.

Un-frackin'-believable.

 Maybe you can suggest any of the antis that are close can mosey on over there and be used as hostage swaps. I honestly cannot understand these people. momm5 made an excellent point right up front....almost all of these incidents takes place in gun free zones and the criminals know it....only the dumb ones or the ones who dont care about living try it where they know folks can arm themselves.

on a lighter note, did you see santa robbing the suntrust bank yesterday? It was hilarious!!! what a brilliant freakin move, nobody even questioned a santa walking into a bank in full costume, and the teller interviewed said he was "funny, and jovial" and added " that was the scariest part, and he said santa needed to pay his elves" as he held out his bag, they filled it with cash, and he was out the door......

The perpetrator has been apprehended. Motive is still unknown.

No explosives found on-scene.

Many lives endangered. Many questions. Few answers.

Well, that's good. As for motive -- he's either bat sh*t crazy or really upset that one of his packages didn't arrive in time for Christmas.

BTW, I chimed in on the MSNBC comments. We should give the anti's no quarter.

MSNBC comments?

The Newsvine discussion or something else? I don't see a comments section under the article. I post under Newsvine when I am able.

Sorry. I meant Newsvine. That's where the "Discuss This Story" link from MSNBC goes.

This is a big time event around here. Havne't has such excitement since Mrs Green our English teacher puked and us kids took turns sliding in it.
