CNN updated a story about another student's murder on the VA Tech campus.

The murderer, Haiyang Zhu, murdered Xin Yang after she told him that she was engaged to another man. Apparently Haiyang was infatuated with Xin. This happened in January; apparently he pleaded guilty in December.

He killed her with a knife and decapitated her. WTF!!!

So, when is that stupid ban getting lifted? You know the one... the one where only criminals (oh and police) can carry on campus.

This is indeed grisly. Read the article closely. It says in a restaurant but its in a VA tech facility. I say that VA tech ought not to just let students carry but they should have courses in self defense using a gun. They should be widely and publicly advertised. That would send a strong message to would be attackers.

Groups like Students for Concealed Carry on Campus are keeping the discussion alive on campuses around the country. As long as there are people talking about this problem, there is a chance for a solution.
