Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou stressed that the Copenhagen United Nations climate summit was a historic moment in the history of humanity.
"At this time, we are observing the birth of global governance. We must, however, agree to an obligation and be committed to carrying this out," he stressed, while addressing the UN summit on Thursday.

It also predicts wars, rumors of war, earthquakes in diverse places, men and women having "unnatural affections" (homosexuality), and Jesus tells his followers Luke 22:36 "Then said He unto them, 'But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip, and HE THAT NO SWORD, LET HIM SELL HIS GARMENT, AND BUY ONE." In that day and time a sword was comparable to a handgun today, a personal weapon that could be concealed beneath clothing if desired. Remember in the garden the night he was betrayed, Peter pulled out a sword from beneath his robe a cut off the ear of one of the guards. Since Jesus had been traveling with these men day and night for years. It would be surprising if Jesus did not know Peter had a sword. In another verse it tells us that a man who does not provide for his family is worse than an infidel. To me, that means providing protection for himself and his family along with the other things necessary like housing, food, clothing, etc.
I have been both preaching this from the pulpit as well as practicing it in my personal years for years now.
