It took me 6 months to talk my Daughter-in-law into leting me take my 6 Year old grandson shooting for the first time, It was her xmas present to me. . It had to snow and now she doesn't want us driving in the snow. Don't understand why we only have 14 inches. Hope everyone is safe and warm. Merry Xmas.

Madison County at 9:30 this morning. We measured about 21 inches at that time and have gotten at least another 6 inches since then.

I measured on my deck about 5 hours ago and had 16 inches then. Its been snowing steadily ever since and still going at 4:30 PM. A historical event indeed.

Fairfax got (and still getting) about 12-16inches and like I said, its still falling. I've been out three times today with the JEEP, its ONLY fun when you know what you are doing and the other folks do too; otherwise all those POS vehicles driving around like it is 75-sunny and dry, is just a PITA.
OK, gotta run the GSD around the perimeter and further out for some fun; nothing like a dog on the snow, and the GSD has a black-face so the lil white moustache makes her look like Tony Montana at the end; or an ad for Milk.
Next up... fireplace, Booker's bourbon and some dinner - stay safe, warm and dry (unless someone starts a snowball fight).

I know all of you are beside yourselves as you follow the saga of the snowmen in my front yard. Well, it now looks like they have been BURIED ALIVE!

It was 50 degrees and raining most of the day here. But now it's down to 35 degrees with no rain. I feel cheated.

If you had ANY sense of compassion, you would have put a bullet into the head of each of them just as they went under, so as to stop the suffering and pain..

Where's my buddy al gore ?!?!?! I got somethin to show em...
Btw, this big snow event is the reason that "global warming" silently changed to "climate change." Am I the only one that noticed. The libs needed a way to explain away every weather event and blame it on global warming - voila - climate change.
