I have a 300 Blackout. It's a true AAC, from before they were bought-out. It is my favorite and if I could only have one, this would be it. The thing is a rock star and preferred rifle from 0-300 yards. I haven't tried it at 500 yards yet.

I have only shot subs through mine...with a can of course. It's ever so much fun. Plinking ammo I use is Rem UMC 220gr...for deer hunting I've had great success with Hornady SubX 190gr. Shots from my hunting hut are 75yd or less, so it's perfect for that. The Hornady punches holes in paper at 50yds in sub 1" group...UMC always pings the steel, but doesn't print well on paper.

What is the twist rate? I have a 1:7 and it loves Rem 220, with great grouping at 100 yards. I believe my 16" is 1:7 and 8.5" is 1:8
