Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

The name's Ron. I moved to NoVA from my home state of Indiana in late 2015 for a new job. Gotta say, the traffic and housing prices are killing me. Virginia is overall a great place to be, it's just too bad our governor and his comrades want to change that. I hope to one day move westward within the state for more breathing room.

I consider myself mostly a gun noob, not having fired a weapon since I left the navy in 2004. But after a few hairy incidents over the years here and in other places I've lived, I figured it's high time for some hopefully never-needed protection. I bought a Kahr CW380, then an HK45C, then sold the CW380 and replaced it with a PM9. I look forward to contributing whatever I can.

Thanks for the welcoming party! I can't promise to be super active either, having a job that regularly makes me travel to a place with no internet.

I guess I'll mention that I bought my first suppressor recently, back in December. Just my damned luck to face the very real prospect of suppressors being banned before I can take possession. The thought of that is aggravating to say the least.
