lUltradot Non warranty

I have several Ultradot sights that I have used for years shooting Bullseye Comps. They have been wonderful and very sturdy. Two of them have now failed and I discover that the warranty is no longer life time. The warranty was we will fix or replace if you have the original receipt. Now they tell me that the company has been acquired by another party and , even though they still use the Ultradot trademark and still use the same printed warranty, they cannot fix and will not replace the sights. I offer the opinion that if you buy the company to use the reputation and don't even change the wording of your warranty, you also buy the liabilities of the company. They are trading on the reputation of the old Ultradot and not supplying the same level of service. Please keep this in mind before you give them your dollars.

Seems to me that they should have some obligation to honor the warranty that they still offer.

Did you run up the chain of command, or stop at the first person to answer the phone? In the past, I've had some success with supervisors, and supervisors of supervisors. (Not with this specific company, just in general)

I've found that the magic words, "What is your name? Who do you work for? Connect me to them." works quite well,
Repeat as often as necessary.

This is there exit clause...
Ultradot Distribution, Inc., will repair or replace, as it deems most suitable
Their "limited lifetime warranty" is limited to "if" they feel like it.
