I am of a mind that the "No Concessions" policy on dealing with hostage takers should apply to the New Zealand shootings as well. By making concessions to hostage takers that activity would be rewarded and thus encouraged. By similar token, wasn't a portion of the shooter's agenda an advancement in gun control and wouldn't a concession reward and thus encourage such activity?

USA Today must find this to be discouraging.
Myself, I'm a little amazed by the results. I rather expected a more even split.
Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

At around 13,5k votes it's more than 99% of the "polls" the left do.
But with over 90% disagreeing with them you'll never see this advertised as a headline.
