While we are doing some group photos, here are 2 group photos I had around that I thought i'd share.

Both targets are shot @ 100 yds, with a .308 Winchester. From bipod + rear bag.

Target #1 "orange"
The left group is 4 rounds, the one hole by itself was shot #5. Hard to really measure the 4 shot group, but my best estimate is 0.132 MOA, the 5th 'flyer' opened it up to a 0.280 group. Splatter targets are great for seeing holes, but suck for measuring them. Shot outdoors, during a load development outing. Target #2 ' B&W'
Buddy said this gun isn't shooting well for me, all I can get is about 2 - 4 MOA, I think my scope is moving, can you shoot a 5 round group and see how it shoots for you. After I dropped 5 into a 0.369 MOA group, I said I think the rifle shoots OK. This group was shot indoors at Elite shooting sports.

Heck yea! That is outstanding!

For what its worth, that is the very reason I asked you to verify my rifle for me a couple years ago. I figured if it was me, I would found out pretty quick once you got your hands on it!

Works out that way, for some reason. For me, it's often "stress."

Stress? Yeah, I shoot a round, see the hole, shoot another round, wonder how I missed the whole big square piece of target paper. Shoot the third round and the hole is just big enough for me to tell it. Wow! All three bullets in that one, barely larger than one round hole!! At that point, it goes south. I struggle to get "the perfect sight picture." I struggle with the trigger release. I have to force myself to finish the magazine out and the group just gets bigger.

Then there are those rounds that are not in the group and I have no idea why. Everything was "right there" when the trigger broke. I can tell when the sights drift out of alignment just before the trigger breaks. I can "call the shot." It's easy once you've got the fundamentals under your belt and use them to shoot.

My first 4 out of one of the CZ's (The P01 Omega, I think).



Then here comes #5.

Seriously, I enjoyed and learned a lot from the reloading class.

once i get a home range set up, it will be easier to make that happen.
