Dicks Sporting Goods has apparently gone "all-in" on gun control:

TBH thinks that this sounds counterintuitive. I agree, but it seems that Dicks has always been in the wading end of the gun control pool; now they've just gone off the deep end.

After we ban all the guns, and start looking a hell of a lot more like Britain, maybe they can work with the knife control lobby, and the bat control lobby, and the stick control lobby...

They could quite easily lobby themselves out of business. They won't have jobs anymore, but at least they'll feel warm and fuzzy.

I think it is all good. Dick's sells Yeti. We will see how long Dick's stays in business after cutting ties with the American Outdoorsman.

I prefer Sportsmans Warehouse because they're not Dicks.

Someone gave the boy-child a gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods. Today was the day we had to spend it on Crossbow stuff for him.
Checkout dude: "Would you like a Dick's Frequent Shopper card?"
Me: "No."
C/D: "you sure? it's free."
Me: "No, I do not want a Dick's Frequent Shopper card".
(C/D looks at me, I look at him with pure anger.)
C/D: "Gotcha."
Yes, all the family for the boy children are NOW informed "NO Dick's Sporting Good Gift Cards... ever".
The only reason we're there now? To get merchandise, because I don't want those Anti-gun bastards to walk away with someone's money without something in trade.
P.S. I carried in there. Ssssshhhh, I don't care.
