Yeah, it was a "business" decision. And who does REI cater to primarily? David Hogg sycophants. Too bad. Savage made some nice rifles. I have a Savage 110 bolt-action in .270. Really nice deer rifle for this area.

Nope! At this point, the only thing I want "pooled" is a Credit Union for Gun owners, Gun manufacturers, and gun shops.

And to be a member? YOU have to be either a member of NRA, GOA, or some local gun group. No exceptions.

I guarantee the person that comes up with this one? Is gonna be FILTHY rich!

I'm surprised that such an organization does not, yet, exist.

:enlighten:
I wonder if the NRA would allow their name to used for the "NRA Federal Credit Union".
I can imagine the financial clout a credit union with 6 million potential members would have.

There'd be financial and market clout.

Indeed, and I'm held to a "Cannot Compete" thingy so I cannot start it.

Might WORK for them, but cannot START anything!

Aren't "no compete" clauses usually time limited? I've never heard of one that's indefinite.

Come to think of it; unless the language in the agreement expressly forbids it, you should be able to start it, as long as you don't own it.
