Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

A teacher/resource officer shoots the ceiling during class, apparently to see if the gun was unloaded. There were minor injuries. Parents, for obvious reasons, are upset.

It seems that he was about to use the gun to demonstrate disarming techniques with the class.

This guy should know better. I am pretty close to believing that this was intentional. He has pretty much given the Anti crowd someone to point at; "See? That's why we can't arm teachers!"

Also, he really wanted to use a real firearm to practice disarming technique? They make loudly colored dummy pistols for that, which he would have been well aware of. He also knows, damn well, the proper way to clear a pistol.

I wonder what his Facebook page looks like, in regard to political beliefs?

I am 100% confident that there are lib teachers that are going to throw themselves on the sword for this movement. There was a teach who waited until all the students were out of his class, barricaded himself in the room, and then once he had everyone's attention, he fired a single shot out his classroom window into the ground right outside the window. Later one of his students outed him as saying he was going to prove the armed teachers are a bad idea.

Something this wack jobs are missing is, teachers and other facility have been carrying guns in schools in 21 states since 2004. There has not been a single incident until a political movement to arm teachers started.

So... TWO ND's in schools on Tuesday, both from guys who should know better, in "blue" areas, the day before a highly publicized "school walkout" demonstration, designed to protest firearms, particularly in schools.

Right.

That reminds me of the joke from the sixties about a guy that always carried a bomb on any airplane flight he was on. He figured that since the odds of a bomb being a plane were nearly a million to one that if he brought one on board then the odds of a bad guy bringing one on that flight would be a million times less likely.
