If you want to know how to ruin a state, look no further than California.
.
. Highest Debt
. Highest Unemployment
. Highest income Tax
. Highest corporate Tax
. Most regulations
. Most Welfare recipients
. Highest homeless population
. Highest number of illegal aliens
. Highest number of unauthorized tent camps
.
And who controls this bucket of worms?
.
Moonbeam and the Democrats
.
That's what you get when you have Democrats in charge for the last 30 years.

In some parts of Southern California, they're trying to "clean things up". Of course, what's really happening, is that there just moving homeless people around.
I see the tent cities all over the place, from Frisco to San Diego. And trash. Trash, everywhere. Vacant buildings are destroyed. Much of it looks very 3rd World.
The northern part of the state isn't all that bad; they've done fairly well, in spite of it all.
It's a shame. California would be a prosperous and beautiful state, if citizens were left to their own devices, and enemy invaders weren't welcomed with open arms.

They have been trying to separate for years.

Yes. There are even signs that welcome you to the State of Jefferson. I saw the signs before I was aware of the movement.
I do wish they'd get on with it. The countryside is lovely, up there, and I'd like to enjoy it. Then, what remains of California can secede from the Union, we can add a wall, and remove the cancer warnings from everything.

I'm pretty sure it was California that caused this to be on jars of peanut butter.
On many brands it just says "
WARNING! Contains peanuts."

Lol, Alan. I have seen that, before, along with other, similarly obvious warning labels. It's quite ridiculous.

I've come to believe that the movie "Idiocracy" isn't a comedy but rather a documentary.

I have not seen the movie, but it's on my list.
That's a Mike Judge film, isn't it? I enjoyed King of the Hill, and Beavis and Butt-Head.

Hmm.... Speaking of the State of Jefferson, Drudge recently linked to a writeup on it, in the LA Times:
