The forum will be taken down at 10PM for Maintenance

I will be stopping the server tonight at 10PM or so in order to move us over to the new server. It might take awhile for things to settle out since we're moving to a different set of IP addresses and DNS has to catch up with us after I make the changes.
You may not see much of a disruption, or it might be tomorrow morning before you're able to get back onto the site.
So, I guess the main thing is that if you want to buy Christmas gifts tonight (
HTTP://ALL-IN-GENERAL.COM and
HTTP://MAGLITESALES.COM ), you should complete checkout before 10PM!
hehe

I'll see you all on the other side!

Howdy, Rick,
How frequently are DNS databases updated? Can you publish the new IP's before you take down the old server?
Good luck. Hope you don't lose too much sleep, or anything else for that matter, during the migration.
Regards,
George

Looks like the A record for vagunforum.net is set with a 900 second TTL. So once Rick changes the IP address in DNS, it should take a max of 15 minutes for it to catch up.

We seem to be up...still have a lot to tweak before it's all right - but we can play again anyway.
I'm still waiting for
http://all-in-general.com to resolve properly. Can anyone else see all-in-general.com and does it look ok?

There is an issue with some ads showing up transposed over the page in between the left and next column and partway down the page. The ads images are red-xed out and the text is white ghosted over the text/images behind it.

Howdy, Rick,
ATT, VGOF & All-in-General seem to be responding very well, even a little faster than usual.

George

This problem has been corrected. Upgrade to MySQL v5 resulted in some changes being required for a couple of database queries.
