Apex 40->9MM semi drop in conversion S&W M&P

Has anyone done the Apex Barrel Upgrade?

The intent is to improve accuracy. I'm curious with the semi-dropin 40/9MM if one would over file if that would decrease accuracy or if the fit is such that the barrel is secured in a way that would prevent this.

Not anticipating any problems but I'd like to know before ordering.
