Important Question concerning the Las Vegas shooting.
.
Here’s the question I haven’t heard anyone ask about concerning the incident that happened in Las Vegas last Sunday.
.
It was reported that this killer took a hammer and broke out two of the 800 lb. windows from the 32nd floor, prior to starting the killing from those windows.
.
If he did that, and they fell to the ground from the 32nd floor windows, why wasn’t there someone who was standing around that side of the building where the windows fell, notifying either the hotel or security about those windows raining down on them?
.
Someone had to have either seen it happen or at least heard it happen, because that much glass and debris had to have made a terrific sound and it would have only taken a couple of minutes to ascertain where they came from and send someone up there to investigate the cause of that happening.
.
So what happened and why hasn’t there been ANYTHING about this subject in the news, being that it’s been almost six days after the shooting.

Re: Important Question concerning the Las Vegas shooting.
Good question.
I imagine that the shooting started within moments of the glass breaking. The guy in the room underneath did make mention of glass shards hitting his window, but I have yet to hear reports from anyone on the ground, concerning the broken glass.
Depending on wall thickness and suite sizes, it is fathomable that neighbors on either side wouldn't hear the glass break, or, at least, wouldn't connect the noise to a security issue. I highly doubt that the sound would have made it to the rooms above; not at an alarming level, anyway.
Depending on the tool used to break the glass, it's possible that it wasn't particularly loud. A nail punch, for example, shatters glass more quietly than, say, a cinder block.
I suppose that the glass breaking part of the story is less exciting than the rest of it, so the ratings/click driven media haven't paid much attention to it.

Judging by these images it does not appear they use safety glass as the kind that fracture into thousands of small pieces. This allows large pieces to fall to the ground.
The windows have plastic/tarps tapped from the inside and blowing outside -- difficult to determine the glass makeup.
