There was an attack on CCleaner download/installation file.

Anyone using CCleaner should be aware. There was an attack on their files available for download by the general community. You should update your installation.

and that is a very sophisticated attack that was in ccleaner. I'm sure the bad guys aren't done...

Just upgrading won't remove the malware. It's designed to stay on the system. If you've installed it in the last few months I would recommend downloading FTK it's a forensic tool. You need to search for the MD5 hash for the malware which is
75735db7291a19329190757437bdb847 and wipe it from the disk.
Worst case format and reinstall windows.
