Best Lawyers for protecting my gun rights?

I want to make sure I have protection and the best attorneys for protecting me and my gun rights.
I know the NRA is offering this carry guard thing? But isn't that just insurance?
I hear a lot of positive things about the United Self Defense Law firm from here in Virginia and know Cuccinelli is a great attorney and would have been an excellent governor (
https://gundefenselaw.com/)
But wasn't sure if I should sign up yet.. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I'm really trying to avoid those national groups that hire some random attorney for me and then I have additional expenses they charge on top of my insurance I have to get through them
If you have any suggestions let me know but I think for what I'm looking for that usdl would be best, has anyone used them before?
Thanks!!

Somewhere in the past I bookmarked a link to
Virginia gun-friendly lawyers.
I also sat through a talk by Daniel Hawes on Virginia self defense law and was impressed with his content and philosophy.

Other than the Hawes talk, I have no 1st hand experience with self-defense lawyers....

I know John Pierce has participated in re-writing some proposals with Philip Van Cleve -- President VCDL. John is located in Bristol Va and his name appears on the VCDL listing of gun attorneys.

Stevens Caruso Law - in NOVA... Former Commonwealth's attorney. I have hired him for two separate criminal cases, both with 100% acquittals.
http://www.stevenscarusolaw.com/
Ken Cuccinelli (Former VA AG), Graven Craig, and Torrey Williams started United Self Defense ... I believe out of the Richmond area.

Hard to beat the insight and connections either law firm could bring to the table... for me, it would depend on the jurisdiction I was being charged in.
Insurance is a great idea... the companies offer million dollar policies for a reason.

I've been with USDLaw for about a year now and they've been great. they seem to be based closer to Richmond, but I've had friends who are clients they meet up with in NOVA no problem
It's way better then insurance and you have attorneys who know VA law and are three of the best to do it
I would check out their website, prices are reasonable and they have discounts all the time if you ask
