I've been visiting Arlington, VA frequently now for over 35 years. All my guns are in Arlington and I shoot regularly there. I am looking forward to enjoying this forum.

Which brings up an interesting question.
My eldest brother is buried in Arlington Nat. Cemetery, can I visit his grave without disarming as long as I stay out of DC?
I would be coming up from the south or south west.

I carry every time I leave the house, usually OWB at 3 o'clock.
I do have a VA CHP in case my pistol is inadvertently covered by a shirt or jacket.

Prohibited items:
EXPLOSIVES
FIRE ARMS
KNIVES (blades more than 4-inches in length)
NARCOTICS
FIRE WORKS
I would have to lock my carry gun in the clamshell that I keep in my vehicle.

Alan, I'd say follow the rules, but I have never seen anyone checking what you have or not on you (concealed) at the Arlington cemetery. Been there last time last fall. Anyway, highly unlikely you will need to carry there, unless you're afraid of ghosts or zombies.
