Admittedly, .45 packs quite the punch, but a 9 will make you just as dead.

I'd like to be able to say that a 9 is as fun to shoot, but never having shot one....

so when the mo power crowd starts talking ask them why they aren't using 10mm then?
they they will come back with size, so offer them 50 AE.

Tell th truth, .50AE in my desert Eagle is too much of a good thing. Caint hardly stand much of it. Guess I'm getting old and fragile.

I just picked up a kit of 357/44/50 barrels for the DE, so I have choices now.

From my memory handling the DE in all of those calibers the 357, and 44 were super slick, while the 50 AE is quite the punch straight up and back. I remember a tone of people trying to shoot the 50 and hitting themselves right in the forehead. The other two calibers were no where near as brutal for someone who didn't realize what was coming. Just what I remember anyway. I love to shoot any of the calibers in the DE, but did always seem to like the 44 myself. Still can't beat the wonderful 1911's and now they also offer a 50 for the 1911.
