Starting new threads vs. replying in same topic

How do you envison this forum working? One long thread that everyone posts to OR threads for different types of guns (rifles, shotguns, pistols, C&R) OR or individuals making their own threads OR some other way?

I like separate threads started for each "Show off" moment or for each different suggestion that someone wants to make for the site, etc. I guess I could start moderating and splitting posts off like this one... But the thing I *don't* want to be is overbearing with rules and the like.

You bring up a good point...let me see what I can do to address it...
