McAweful is refusing to sign SB1023, which protects the identity of Va CHP holders, unless a poison pill is ammended, making it illegal to by more than 1 handgun a month.

It did nothing to prevent trafficking of guns for 20 years, because most weapons traffickers are stealing them, not buying them.
And does he really think a trafficker can't get 20 people to buy him 20 guns in one day??? That's what the bad guys do for a living!
For Christ's sake.... How many more days do we have to deal with this bum?

A class 1 misdemeanor for inadvertently making two purchases within 30 days? Even if I believed that a purchasing restriction would help, his amendment is a GOTCHA law. What an ass.

Even if the legislature passes the amendment, there is no guarantee that numbnuts will sign the bill.

How true, MarcSpaz. Didn't Chicago just recently have a big gun theft from a railroad box car moving guns to be delivered to guns to dealers?
But I'm sure with a 1-gun-a-month law they will never steal more than 1 gun a month

Maybe it is time for another bill being passed to remove the budget for using State Troopers for McAwful's security. Maybe a second bill to also remove a few of his treasured perks, and remove a ton of his staff.
