This showed up on another site. I guess criminals are willing to use criminal means to get gun illegally.
[sarcasm]Maybe we need more laws. That will stop them[/sarcasm]

If it wasn't so serious, it would be funny as hell. I don't think I've ever been in a gun shop where some (if not all) the salesmen are carrying. How absolutely stupid to think otherwise.
I remember talking with one salesman while my son was negotiating we got onto the discussion of carrying -- he said "Let me get my wallet"... reached to his back pocket and came out with a pocket pistol in a wallet like holster.

its also a good reminder just how fast it can go from normal, to shots fired.

@JD Yep, in this case, less than 7 seconds.
I wonder if those guys planned on hitting a shooting range, next?
I was poking around Google, trying to find out if the second robber had been caught; I guess he hasn't. But I did find the original media report. It appears that this happened the day after Christmas.

Saw this on another forum. Sobering reminder of how fast things can go.
On a lighter note, we were all wondering on the other forum why so much smoke. Was he firing a semi black powder pistol?

Light reflection makes ir appear to be more smoke than normal.
Kind of off camera, but it appeared the store owner reloaded.
