I randomly stumbled upon this article. Looks like a fun diversion:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/56-000-hellc ... 16407.html
Opening line:
"If you’ve ever had the opportunity to drive both a Hellcat (Charger or Challenger) and Jeep Wrangler..."
Sounds like Marc, to me. Hey, Marc, found you a new toy, lol.

Hmmm.... I wonder what happens when you start dragging the belly pan through old slimy clay mud? That's when I'd be afraid of all that torque and hosspower digging a hole.

Awesome! With 707+ HP, think about how much faster I can snap an axle while rock crawling! LOL
Nick has been trying to get me to have this conversion done. As someone who owns both a Wrangler Rubicon and a Hellcat Challenger, I can tell you that the gimmick is great, but it is an insanely horrible idea. They took a Jeep that is scary and unstable at 80 mph and made it capable of 200 mph (on a dyno, anyway).
For most people, I would think that the NA 6.4L with just under 500HP would be about the max I would recommend, and only for the 4 door. The 5.7L NA motor is perfect in my opinion.
If I buy one, you will have to take it for a ride H...

We can use it to go to the range at The Cove.

Lol, that Jeep did strike me as cool in theory, downright silly in practice. Kinda like that other Chrysler project, where they put a Viper engine on a motorcycle. Cool in theory... but, eff that; I ain't riding it.
My guess is that the Hellcat Wrangler is a "braggin' rights" vehicle. You get one just so can say that you've got one.

I was thinking of the Boss Hoss too. Put it in the category of "Just cuz you can, doesn't mean you should." LOL
