The 60 day period is over and here are the results:

2950 expressed general opposition
843 expressed opposition as they feel their rights are violated.
404 expressed opposition based on safety concerns
5 expressed opposition based on hardships incurred
89 expressed opposition as there is no authority
408 expressed general support
45 expressed support as they feel safer
5 expressed support and for all guns being banned
1 commenter suggested a change
41 commenters provided no comment

Good. That jerk should have never mentioned it. I'm sure it won't stop him though. The upside is, we get to point out the blatant disregard for the will of the people.

D**** I messed up the totals! There are 458 for the EO NOT 50 and 4291 against Not 4699. Sorry about that.

Huh. The Eo50 was amended. It originally stated open and concealed carry was prohibited. Now it just states open carry.

So, given the wording, is this EO enforcement effectively the same as for private business? Notify the open carrier that he must have missed the signs at the door and insist he/she remove the sidearm or face a trespass charge?
