Scary Conversations...

Had the ODDEST conversation with someone. Kinda went like this:
Me: "You gonna vote this year?"
Him: "Yup! Gonna vote for Trump!"
Me: "Wait...didn't you vote for Obama for both terms!?"
Him: "Yup! He did just about what I thought he would do! Now I need Trump to finish it."
Me: "D'hell are you talkin' about!?"
Him: " I knew Obama would polarize people, treat vets like sh't, ruin our relationships overseas, and violate the Constitution. I suspect if Trump wins, he'll do the same thing only worse. It's why I wanted two rank assed amateurs back to back."
Me: (no response)
Him: "you wanna know why doncha?"
Me: "um.. sure."
Him: "You gotta hit 'reset' in this country. We cannot continue on the way we have been doing. I thought Obama would have pushed us into anarchy sooner, he got close, but failed because he ended up p*$$ying out. Now I'm gonna vote for an insane son of a beeyatch."
Me: "Dude... you scare the sh't outta me sometimes. Thank God I'm on your good side."
Him: "Yeah, I'm a little out there."

This country is doomed anyway, thus the entire world. The corruption in our government along with the influx of foreigners is exactly what happened to the roman empire, to the letter. Only now with our arsenal of world destroying missiles when we fall the world goes with us. It doesn't matter what you want, what you believe, whether you're benign or malign we are all dead. The world will burn and there isn't damn thing we can do about it.
Well there is but it isn't pretty or easy, and there is high chance of death. Take over the government by force while keeping the constitution in tact. Barring that only god can save us.

That guy needs to "reset" his brain. There's a short in his wiring.

I think it's "retiring from the military"... I think he's "seen some things", and he ain't ever been right since I've been talking to him.
I hope he's wrong, but in truth... (shrugs) It's an interesting premise. Never dismiss anything, because even the "bat-bombs" against the Japanese were overshadowed by the atomic bomb, otherwise... PETA would be PISSED!

Take a look at this article
http://www.businessinsider.com/turkey-c ... ers-2016-7 because it's what I see happening here. People change, and are willing to fight.

"The government regained control less than 24 hours after the soldiers first mobilized, aided by civilians who lay in front of tanks and confronted soldiers head-on. "
See? I don't think we've got folks who will just "stand in front" of anything, BUT... I think we've got enough folks who are willing to head to guerrilla warfare tactics, that any kind of "martial law" declared shy of an invasion, will be a Pyrrhic victory for either side.
That's the whole "arms race" inside of the U.S. The military knows it's not supposed to attack civilians inside of the borders, and the civilians don't want to go against the military might that it has paid to create.
The problem is that when it comes to "house- to -house". The U.S. citizens have no familiarity with that situation, and it'll end ugly.
None of this pleases me, and I hope to hell he is 100% incorrect... but reading the news every day? (shrugs)

I used to think that the best way to survive a door to door sweep to disarm people would be to hide arms as well as you can. However, I have since made a friend who tried that in Cuba and the government came in with massive amounts of equipment to check walls, canisters and enclosures, as well as the ground around his house. His dad ended up in prison when they found a rifle about 3 feet underground on their land.

depends how much land you have and what kind of tools.
With almost 30 acres, and an excavator that will dig to 14'... I have more options than the average man.

True. I have a few ideas I'll share when we're face to face.
