Making America great again

Paul Johnson (British historian) is one of my favorite writers and I look forward to his column in Forbes every month. His comments this month should be read by a lot of people (I'm glad I read them) who are on the fence regarding Trump. Personally, I can't stand that azzhat (Trump) and I don't want to vote for him because he hasn't shown he's up to the task before him. On the other hand, he has been talking to some very smart people and seems to be moderating his tone somewhat. I still don't like him, but I may come around. Oh, and all those who would make the accusation that a vote for anyone else is a vote for Hillary, keep it to yourself. If you want to throw your vote away by casting it for one person "just because", be my guest. Doing that requires no thought, and an unfaithfulness to what you really believe. Anyway, here's Paul Johnson -

The GOP hasn't even held their convention to pick a candidate and we already have a parade of pundits telling us to just hold our nose and vote for whomever is running against Hillary Clinton.

I guess "Not Hillary" is the only qualification that Trump has left now.

I don't like trump....not by a long shot. But he is not as far as I can tell a murderous, lying, traitorous, hateful witch, so that makes him infinitely more desirable.

I don't know, I can't tell the difference any more. Maybe that's because I actually listen to what they both have to say.
