Active shooter in Bristol, TN

This is just across the line from Bristol, VA. It was pretty much within sight of State Street, which is the VA-TN border between Bristol, VA and Bristol, and TN crosses Route 11 which is Commonwealth Avenue on the VA side and Volunteer Parkway (Highway 11E) on the TN side. About an hour from my shack.

'Bout what you'd expect in these parts. An active shooter starts a rampage and pretty soon he's been shot. Moral of the story is don't F*** with us Hillbillies because we'll shoot back.

Far as I know, there's been no widespread news coverage of this.

IMO there'd be a lot fewer active shooters if they all ended this way; and if it got the same press as the ones with the horrific death tolls do.

(shakes head) Don't mess with people who shoot back. Rule 1 of violence.

CBS has the shooter's ID. Try to contain your shock and amazement.
