Really? This guy obviously wasn't thinking. I'll be interested to hear the rest of the story.

Regardless of the determination by FFX police, this fuels the gun-grabbers.

I live in the community next to Burke, and visited my mom in Burke this evening.

This guy is an idiot. He's also an SES, but maybe not for long.

I'm surprised that he wasn't charged for brandishing, especially in Fairfax County. He's also very lucky.

I saw this on the news a couple nights ago. I couldn't believe he was just pointing the gun at the guys in the street (drunk or not) -- while his wife had her back to them trying to settle him down.

I'd sure like to know details if the gun as loaded.

He still should have been sited for brandishing. Didn't see anyone on private property.

If that was me or any one of us... we would spend the next year in jail while we wait for a hearing. Then likely get another 4 years on top of that. That ahole could have easily killed one of those kids. And his wife was trying to get him in the house, but she was on the phone (assuming with police) making the same complaints as her husband to whoever was on the other end of the line.

It's amazing that no one was shot.

He should have been charged and arrested. Had the complaint been filed that day, he probably would have.

Aside thought: "Drunk" or not, having an argument and then going back inside the house to get the gun does not play well for you in a court of law.

Reminds me of Col. Sanders. He was known for similar stunts, back in his day.

PLEEESE!
Cited: Referenced or ticketed
Sighted: Seen or having sights
Sited: Placed on a certain spot

That's off the top of my head. A dictionary may say it differently.
My point being they are homophones.

I've been sick for a week and spent 3.5 days in hospital so I'm a little testy right now.

seems to show partiality by the judge, 2 sets of laws, one for us common folk and one for the privileged upper class. Much like Hillary's non-conviction. Its all about who you know.
