Especially close to me this year - my wonderful wife became a mother last Monday (2016-04-25). Our first! No, I have not yet bought him his first firearm...
Thankfully her mother came down to help us out. Unlike some, I get along really well with my in-laws and they have been nothing of supportive. Thank the Light for her mom, as she took the baby and him this morning for a few hours so we could sleep.
My mom is in Hawaii and I can tell she's beside herself wanting to see the baby.
