I read this morning a little about the cost of pelosis insurance plan to an average American. Some of us are concerned about the total cost (how many billion or trillion) that is going to be and the increase to our already massive deficit. But what will an "average" American have to pay out of pocket? Let's see what they said. According to the Kaiser Foundation (a non-partisan research center) here's the deal:
A family of 4 headed by a 45 year old making $66,000 per year will be forced to pay 10% of its income for health insurance.
That is downright ridiculous. That is $550 per month just for health insurance. I thought the purpose was to make this affordable. I have a decent plan as a federal employee and pay about $150 per month for health, dental, and vision all together. And I make a wee bit more than $66k per year and there arent 4 of us unless I count my munchkin dogs. If I had to pay an extra $550 per month it would hurt a great deal and I would be forced to take drastic measures.
If this gets passed I honestly dont see how the "average" American is going to survive. Most will no doubt be forced to see which is cheaper - the cost of the actual insurance or the penalty must be paid or go to jail.

When this nut gets finished with this country it will be a crime to call it America.
The educational system along with basic lethargy of the country are to blame.
Making rules that everyone has to come in first place, and everyone has to get a trophy
along with those with any brains being asleep and fat is what has let these beasts
get in power. ACIU and Acorn were formed right under our eyes and we did nothing.

All the facts for non believers of this currant administration's failures as well as where this country will end up is there. As well future destruction of our system by the liberals is right in front of there eyes but these people have been blinded under the assumption that they can get what they want without working for it. Unfortunatly there will be those that don't wake up until it is to late. IMOA in this point and time if our country dosn't turn it self around, we will suffer more damage than any terrorist orginisation could ever impose on us.

Thats not even half of it. They know full well that this will cripple middle america. Thats their goal. Destroy the middle class altogether. Then America will look the way they want it. A ruling class, and a subservient class. They will have americans by the balls, by then most americans will be dependant in some way on the government for some subsidy, whether its food stamps, welfare, unemployment(with all the extensions that go with that) controlling the population, or at least enough of the population for use at election time is what this is about. Thats all. Wait until the cap and trade bill goes through, its a job killer like nothing ever seen in this nation. Read "cloward and Piven" just google it and read it. Thats what this administration is doing, step by step.

Yes I've seen the cloward and piven theory and obama is supposed to be the delivery guy for the final phase. Phase 1 was welfare instituted while he was still sitting on mama's knee back in the 60s. The goal is to literally bankrupt the government. This so called change he harped on cant happen unless the old is first destroyed. You cant build a new house until you tear down the old one. I was once of the mind that there are factions within our government that would never let this happen, but I think I'm wrong. It looks like they sit back and let the people speak. If the people vote for socialism or communism then so be it.

We have a great group of true Patriots here and growing daily. It makes me proud to see many of the things that are written here at VGOF with regard to the OP and the direction that our country has been heading for decades. We've allowed it to happen, but I think a lot of people are waking up to what's going on around us. I just hope it's not too late.

I agree with you in principle, however, when cleaning up this much sh*t, its inevitable that you will get some on you.......people need to be prepared for worst case scenarios... I think it was once said " we will all hang together or we will certainly hang alone".....
