Obama nominates another "moderate" to the SCOTUS. Moderate is code for left wing whack job. It seems that he may be somewhere in that narrow space between Ginsberg and Kagan. Moderate my arse.

Here is a piece from Newsweek that seems to place him in a more moderate position.

I remember an article from '07, in which Obama was described as "a reasonable man". I think that Dowd woman wrote it.
If Obama is "reasonable", then his judge pick must be "moderate".
Not that I view "moderate" as a good thing. Moderates are way too willing to compromise our rights away.

Read somewhere this morning that when D.C. lost the Heller case, they asked for an en banc review. I just found out that just means a larger panel than 3 judges. Anyway, all the judges on the circuit court talk about it and vote on whether to rehear it en banc. Garland voted in favor because it seems he does not see the right to keep and bear arms unless a person is a member of a government sanctioned army.
I may not have all the details correct, but that's the gist of what I read.
So yeah, what Snakester said!

The GOP establishment has promised not to consider any Obama nominee. If they back down from that promise, I will personally lead the formation of a new party to replace the GOP.

Getting ready to have my dog neutered. If McConnell needs some balls, I'll have a pair for him soon.

The GOP is already wavering. We need a new GOP or a new group of parties in the USA to break this duopoly of cowards.

That's a shame. Unlike McConnell I'm pretty sure the dog would know what to do with them.

Maybe if we could prove that McConnell was adopted we could have him neutered!
