I was eating lunch with a pastor, a number of years ago; one of the very few conservative black preachers I know.

Over a plate piled high with fried chicken, he explained to me that the human body was not designed to eat meat.

One of many great and amusing conversations that I had with that man.

Interesting perspective considering:
1. Humans have both eyes placed facing forward for the binocular vision of a predator with the accompanying depth perception, unlike prey animals that have their eyes set on each side of their heads for a wider angle of view so that they can better be warned of predators.
2. Humans have the teeth of an omnivore rather than the teeth of a herbivore.
3. Humans don't have digestive systems designed specifically for processing low energy vegetation like the four stomachs of cattle.

That's just off the top of my head. With a little research on the web I could probably come up with quite a few more.

"Vegetarian" is an indian word for "can't hunt".

Would we be a much happier and healthier society if we ate a diet that was green and soy-based...?

There is no such thing as a herbivore, go ahead look it up on youtube. There are videos of all animals including deer, horses, and even rabbits eating meat. And no I'm not kidding:

All arguments for vegetarianism are now invalid!
