This really isn't new but I hope there's enough sunlight cast on WWP and their books to show everyone what they really spend their money on. One hint; it's not the wounded vets that need it most.

Correct! hence why even vilified, I have never given them a dime... If I wanna help out a vet? i know enough of them personally, I'll just write THEM a check!

Charities can be victims of their own success. Wounded Warrior Project started out as a small group here in VA assembling care packs for hospitalized vets, nothing glamorous, but something meaningful. But as a successful charity takes in increasing amounts of money, it attracts corporate exec types (with the culture they bring) who really are in it for money and prestige, not the mission. These guys aren't there for the 'starting out' part with care packs and volunteers, but they certainly show up when money and events come into play.

When I read they had anti gun tendencies/beliefs that was all I needed to know about them.

I prefer giving to small, local charities. Either that, or helping on an individual basis.
