93 guns stolen in Plano Tx

Post by wittmeba »

A PU truck was used to tear the security doors off the store front to provide access to 4 or 5 thieves. Plano Tx is one of the safest cities in the USA.

I saw this story & video last night; looked like a lot more than 4 or 5 people. Sad story, although the owner/employees should be locking up each weapon every night before leaving.

Plano ain't exactly on the Mexican border, is it?

It's hard to imagine how a normal building could be hardened against that kind of tactic. I'd reckon a log chain, a decent pickup, and a good run-a-go would tear out about anything shy of reinforced concrete.

I'd say dealers can expect new and expensive regulations regarding securing their inventory.

Gun-crazy? Me? I'd say the gun-crazy ones are the ones that don’t HAVE one.

I saw the same video you did. This is a second event at a different store. Likely the same group of people.

Plano is northeast of Dallas. It is a very, very well-to-do area. We lived in Carrollton just west of Plano from 1985-1990.

I think the details are my mistake. I too saw this on TV about 3 nights ago. I thought it was current but now that I look at the dates it was Sep 2015.

Looks like this was the story aired this week:
