I think if you get away with it, then it can be called brazen. If you get caught, its called dumb.

Nah, nothing to keep it from having been a brazen attempt and, as well, nothing about brazen would exclude dumb, whether caught or not.

Maybe they thought the cops would be at a Donut Shop...so they decided on the gun store.

The man who dropped the gun while inside the store was stuck inside for a short time, Maharaj said. The man entered the store from the roof and could not get out until police opened the doors.
