There are articles in the press today about McAuliffe and the Republicans working on a deal to fix reciprocity. VCDL is very, very carefully monitoring what is happening and I will have more details tomorrow after the Governor’s press conference in the afternoon. For now, I ask that everyone just stand down patiently as we wait for more details and facts to emerge. Believe me, VCDL is all over this.

I will be keeping everyone informed as things do (or don’t) develop.

Here’s one of the articles:

ANOTHER GOOD NIGHT FOR GUN OWNERS IN SUBCOMMITTEE!

Tonight in Militia, Police, and Public Safety subcommittee #1 all the anti-liberty bills in front of that subcommittee were killed!

We did have one casualty - Delegate Pillion’s bill which fixed problems with gun owners being foster parents, died on a 2 to 2 vote. We originally opposed Pillion's bill because of some wording issues. He fixed the wording and we switched to Strongly Support.
