Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

I was wondering how many others on the site are members at Sharpshooters and use the range on a regular basis. I go fairly often, usually once a week, or as often as my budget will allow. I usually end up going by myself but always enjoy shooting with others as it affords a chance to try out different weapons. I'll be back home in Taxachusetts to spend Thanksgiving with the rest of my Massholes, let me know if anyone wants to shoot after the holiday.

I'm a member and try to go on a regular basis. I've been a little lax this past month due to moving to a new house. I'm also getting ready to leave town for several days and will be back around 7 Dec. I'm willing to hook up for a shoot when I return. I've got some ammo that needs to get burned.

I'm not a member, but they're about 5 min from where I work. Let me know when you guys meet up.

I'm in. I don't go as much as I used to. But, would like to meet up with fellow forum members.

Am a member, though I've been a slug about going the past few weeks. Let me know if you set something up.

Wow, surprised to see so many who are members or in close proximity. We should all meet up there after Thanksgiving on a saturday or sunday and take over the range IN THE NAME OF VAGUNFORUM!!! All interested please post calendar date suggestions and we'll find a day that works for all of us.

I actually sent them an email last night to see if we could work out an arrangement for VGOF day in early Decemebr. I'll let you know their response!

I was hoping they could get back to me quickly so that I could surprise the forum with it before someone else brought it up lol

Great idea. Btw I wont be back until the 6th or 7th.

I'm not a member but would consider going if its something that can be done. I was under the impression that you can't just shoot there on an hourly basis, you need to have a membership.

Can some one clarify this for me?

I think at a minimum you have to sign up for a months membership. Maybe if we get enough people coming, especially during a slow time, they might wave that if enough regular members show up.

I shoot every tuesday at sharpshooters, I hav some free passes when I purchased my membership, they were gilbert then so not sure if they are still any good, but wil check this tuesday.

I've got 3 or 4 passes I'd be willing to give up if anyone wants to get a shoot n greet together for Sharpshooters. Was there today but only to pick up a new pistol.

I suggest Sunday 13 December for a get together.

I'm a member...shot there yesterday before the 'skins game.

I've been a member for several years, and shoot there fairly often. I appreciate its new look after renovation. Will wear my VGOF tag next time and see if anyone else from the forum is there!

I could do the 13th as well...

I shoot there about every other week. Used to go weekly, but I've been busy lately. I'm a Boy Scout Venturing Crew Advisor and several of my youth (including my son) and adult volunteers work there.

I'm game for a 'range takeover"

FYI the Gilbert's passes still work. Members can also buy 6 passes for $50 so for those who are not members it will save a bit on the cost and paperwork of a monthly membership.
