The wife and I moved to the Ruther Glen area earlier this year from Chiraq. We are both CCW holders who enjoy trap shooting, and informal trarget shooting. I also shoot blackpowder, high power rifle, and IDPA. We totally are in love with the area and can to believe the difference in culture and the people not to mention thee taxes. 1500 sq ft home $6300.00 per year, here 2500 sq ft $1700, gas is about .60 per gal cheaper here. But the very best thing about VA is that or kds and grandkids are close by. Both our son and daughter are Marines married to Marines who had Quantico as their last duty station. As they got out they put down roots and loved the area so when I retired from UPS there was no question where we were going to live.

We escaped the Peoples Democratic Republic of Kali a year ago to be close to grand kids and it has been great as well and just keeps getting better all of the time.
