Detroit police chief: Armed citizens deter terrorists

A week after D.C.'s clueless police chief makes an endorsement for legal self defense, her counterpart in Detroit has an epiphany of his own. Any chance this will translate into a flood of new concealed carry permits for both cities? I'm not holding my breath.
