I came across this image today of three 9mm rounds cut in half.

(left) Full Metal Jacket

(center) Hollow point

(right) Tracer

Not me... But why 9mm tracer? That seems a bit like putting 6 piston Brembo brake calipers on my 10 speed bicycle. I'm sure it works, but doesn't seem practical.

The section image is pretty cool.

I wondered the same thing, but who am I to question the wisdom of a 9mm tracer round? :)
