Cruz hit a walk off home run right there. He pulled a Newt, & killed it with this response. Sadly, it doesn't matter. The hacks that are called journalists at most of these networks really could care less what Cruz or any non-liberal thinks. I bet we'll never see a democratic debate on Fox.....I would love to see that..lol. Especially if the moderators were, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Chris Wallace, & Ed Henry

I read the AP report on that debate (which I missed because I was travelling) in the Bristol Herald Courier (a liberal rag for which I have decided NOT to renew my subscription) this morning.

It made absolutely NO mention of the bias of the moderators, the rebellion of the nominees, or the open disgust for the moderators and MSNBC's handling of the debate on the part of the spectators and general public. It was a complete whitewash of that media ambush and attempted lynching. Rubio is dead on. The MSM is the democrat's SuperPac.

Just got an e-mail from the Ted Cruz campaign titled "Fire the Media". Good idea. I vote we use REAL FIRE.

I don't know why anyone would be surprised about this. I have friends that work for NBC that cover news stories. Not long after Obummer got elected, my friends told me that they were threatened, in person, by members of the Secret Service, not to do any negative stories about the POTUS or they would be in trouble. I told as many people as I could about it and everyone said I was crazy.

I guess now everyone knows the media is in the back pocket of the Left. I must not have been so crazy after all.

Sad state of affairs when the "Secret Service" has become the "Stazi".

First thing to do is FIRE REINCE PREBUS (or however you spell that dill-weeds name)! Who's the freaking moron that agrees to these debates moderated by the lefties? What the FLOCK do they think these idiots are gonna do? Their job is to make the R's look stupid!

This afternoon Andrew Wilkow asked, "When are we going to have debates for conservatives moderated by conservatives?"

Good damn question, Andrew! Maybe then we'll find out what the candidates are really all about, and not be subjected to them sniping at each other.

Here's the Ted Cruze video from FoxNews.

And this site has another version of the video including the question asked of Cruze that preceded his tirade. http://www.wnd.com/2015/10/kaboom-cruz- ... ate-hosts/

I sympathize. But pragmatism and the cold, hard facts of life mitigate against that. This, as I see it, is why:

(1) The left pretty much controls the media by which the candidates hope their message might reach the public. Therefore, they make at least most of the rules of the game.
(2) A debate moderated by conservatives would have less appeal to non-conservatives, and those are the voters that need to be reached. Also, the liberals in politics and the MSM would use that very fact and their control of the media to discourage viewers who pay any attention to them. I'd like to see a debate moderated by conservatives, too, but it would largely be an exercise in preaching to the choir.
(3) Related to the two issues alluded to above, I think the RNC/decision makers whoever they are feel that to be credible with the majority of the voters (who are low-information sheeple that listen to and are significantly influenced by the MSM) believe they must at least appear to be "fair" and "inclusive" in choosing forums/venues for the debates.

I agree it tastes exactly like a crap sandwich, but that's what's on the menu.

The Donald should just buy one of them so he can control how the show goes. The guys has enough money to, and he will have an awesome broadcast company when its over. Or he can just sell it again later for a profit. LOL

It would be interesting to have, say, Tammy Bruce co-moderate a debate with, maybe, Anderson Cooper. Tammy Bruce could ask questions with substance, so that Conservatives and Libertarians would be happy. Anderson Cooper could ask the pointless questions to appease those on the left. They could do debates for both parties.

I don't know how many of y'all care about focus groups, or place any stock or faith in their findings, but I found this interesting:

I wish Ted Cruz could more into the forefront of the campaign, but the establishment GOP is beginning to shift support (and money) from Jeb Bush to Marco Rubio. That makes me suspect that a Bush-Rubio ticket is an almost certainty now.
