On Saturday, a car plowed through a crowded intersection during Oklahoma State University's homecoming parade. Four people were killed and dozens were injured, and the driver of the car, Adacia Chambers, is being charged with four counts second-degree murder.
But according to one newspaper, the Traverse City Record-Eagle, this incident was... a shooting......
BTW - other than the bickering about the newspaper's comment policies some of the comments are spot on and/or quite amusing.
ie. We need to ban assault vehicles!

Shooter fits the agenda of trying to ban guns. Headlines about a crazy person with a car killing people doesn't help the anti-gun movement. Only a crazy person with a gun.
But I don't know why anyone would be surprised anyway. The media has been spreading lies about guns forever. It makes sense that eventually they just start making up intier narratives. Soon the whole story will be made up. Oh, wait, didn't that already happen in Connecticut?

They have no problem giving illegal aliens drivers licenses even though they are behind the wheel of a 3000-5500 lb missile.

You don't need a driver's license to drive a car or truck, anyone can get behind the wheel and hit the road. Of course, you need a driver's license to do so legally. So I guess we can call cars without a legal driver an illegal car. Then it will have to be crushed so no one else can be harmed by the illegal car.
We should pass laws making it illegal to operate a motor vehicle without the proper license.

It 's just like you don't need a pilot 's license to fly a jet into a building. Just enough training to point it in the desired direction. Next thing you know is they will want to make it illegal to sell a vehicle in a private sale
