I have been watching Rareammo.com and it seems many are out of Remington Golden Saber HP .40 ammo at this time. I'm down to about 120 rounds and need some more. Just shot about 40 or so last half hour.

This isn't too bad 500/$196.00
http://www.rareammo.com/Federal-Classic ... _1866.html
but Rareammo had Remington GS 500 for about 175 shipped just a couple months ago.

gunbot.net

This is a site I use frequently when shopping for ammunition. It is a data crawling/mining compilation site of many different ammo sales sites searchable by Manufacturer, Type, Cost per round, etc...

No membership required and no fees to use.

Quote from site header:
"Near realtime tracking of who has ammo, mags and reloading supplies in stock. View list of retailers. GunBot does not endorse any of the retailers or products listed. Double check price/quantity/caliber at the vendor's site before ordering. Order at your own risk!"

The prices cited at this site for .22lr are currently lower than gunbot.net.

Gunbot.net and Ammoseek.com both are great. I like Ammoseek due to some additional filters that you can apply and sort by cost per round. They both lead to other sites after selection.

http://gunbot.net/ammo/pistol/

http://ammoseek.com/ammo/

http://www.rareammo.com/Pistol-Ammo_c_876.html has had the best overall deals for me with price/round and free shipping over $100.00. Free shipping for first order regardless of amount.

I like and use Ammoseek.
I like the way you can sort by so many filters.

Good links! Thanks for posting. See that I can get 1,000 rnds of 230 gr FMJ .45 for about $316. That's cheaper than I've seen it in a long time.

How about $289/1000 with free shipping on your first order?

OR, if you don't mind quality remanufactured ammo: $269.36/1000

I have gotten a lot of ammo from Freedom Munitions. First time orders are free and they have a lot of sales and offers of free shipping. They don't do 22s.

Actually they recently started carrying 22lr. I received an email regarding it about 2 weeks ago. Haven't looked to see how much they charge for it yet.

Gunbot can filter by cost per round. Just gotta select it in the box.

Ammobot, Ammoseek and some other apps are available for your phone too. Trying out a couple to see which one I like best.
