More Great Service From L-3

Man, L-3 is awesome. I'm sticking to EOtech products for the foreseeable future.

2 years ago, I had a 5 year old HWS develop a dim spot on the reticle. They fixed it for free, completely refinished the outside, in just 2 weeks and for free.

A year ago I bought a broken 5 year old EOtech HWS from a member here. He didn't screw me... I knew it was broken when I bought it, thinking I would have it fixed or use it as-is. It had a dead spot in the reticle too. Same thing. Repairs, refinished, quickly and free.

Well, a week ago, I emailed L-3 to see what I needed to do to get a replacement screw that I stripped and had to cut out of my magnifier. They mailed me a full set of brand new screws for free. They came in today.

I always say, everyone can be a great company to do business with when everything goes right. The true character comes out when there is a problem. Given the longevity of there products and the fabulous customer service, I'd be a fool to go anywhere else.

Reminds me of my experience with Zippo years ago. I was a smoker for 25yrs. Many years ago, I was a zippo guy. A friend bought me one that was engraved with my name on it. Had that lighter for years & years. At some point the lid broke off. I sent the lighter to zippo with a letter asking them to fix it, & to bill me for the repairs. I had broke it, & didn't expect it to be free. They sent it back to me with a new matching lid installed. They included brand new inside parts, a package of flints, & a coupon for a free bottle of lighter fluid, all at no charge. I was pretty impressed. I had heard stories of their great customer service but, this was my first experience actually dealing with them. Made me a fan for life.

Had a similar experience with Dillon Precision, I had bought a Square Deal progressive re-loader in 9mm. Well the primer seater was broken, I had the manual, so I found the part number, called them, and asked for a couple, and where to send the check. They simply kept asking for my address, which I gave them, I even told them I had bought it used, and fully expected to pay for the part, plus a spare just in case. They kept insisting I only needed my address, then sent me two of the parts with a thank you note for buying one of their products. Frankly stated it comes with a lifetime warranty period, didn't matter if I bought it used or new, they just took care of it. Made quite an impression on me.

Excellent! I love hearing stuff like this. It really help figure out who to do business with when it comes to brand options.
