Since Christmas, there have been several family deaths between W2B and myself. It started with W2B's cousin being mysteriously shot in a roomfull of witnesses who saw nothing, and the most recent death was that of my Grandfather (we lost another WWII vet with that one), this summer. Also, W2B lost her father this spring.

Aside from that, the remaining old folks in the family are not getting any younger; new health problems emerge while existing ones get worse.

So, our families really needed some happy, this year.

As such, the Wedding that W2B and I had planned for next Spring took place a couple of weeks ago. We started planning about a week after my Grandfathers funeral.

W2B has officially been upgraded to TBH (The Better Half)

I was gonna call her B&C (Ball & Chain), but she threatened to stop feeding me...

Congrats. My wife and I just celebrated our 24th anniversary on the 21st. We would like to wish both of you at least as many happy years as we have had and even more. Yes there will be downs but there should be far more ups. Best of everything to you both.

Congratulations. SWMBO has been tolerating me with grace and dignity for 45 years and counting now. Point is that you should be encouraged to know that it is indeed possible to find a longsuffering woman who will put up with almost anything. I wish you at least as much luck as I have enjoyed.
